The 62nd Cannes Film Festival opened yesterday, May 13th, with UP, a 3D Pixar movie. It is the first time that an animation movie opens this prestigious film festival in the French city of Cannes.UP tells us the story of Carl Fredricksen, a 78 year-old widower, who fulfills his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of ballons to his house and flies away to South America.
