GLACIER vs. ICEBERG

Dear students of 1º ESO (Sección Europea)

Someone asked in class: "What´s the difference between a glacier and an iceberg?"

Can you guess what the difference is by looking at these pictures that I took when I visited "Los Glaciares National Park" in Argentina a few years ago?.

Remember!!!
A glacier is a huge mass of ice.
An iceberg is a fragment of a glacier that floats on the water.

QUESTION:
Is picture 1 a glacier or an iceberg?. And picture 2?.

Click on "comentarios" below and write your answers (Remember to write your name down).
